The idea of this session is to capture the speed with which your baby or toddler is growing; their smiles, their gaze, their joy, their innocence. This session is also personalized, and I try to combine the child’s clothes with the decoration and colors of the background, accessories, or birthday party theme. The session can be done in my home studio, your home, or another location of your choice. Generally, these sessions take one hour.

You can choose different outfits from my baby collection, or you can bring your own special outfit. I can give some suggestions of great websites with beautiful and original outfits for baby photography. You can also visit my Pinterest for different ideas for boys and girls.

I recommend scheduling your session approximately 4-6 weeks out from your milestone.

The best time for a baby portrait session is when baby is happy. Every baby is different, but it is very important to keep in mind your baby’s schedule; usually after naptime is a great time.

The milestone session last approximately 60 minutes. Cake smashes last approximately 90 minutes. I typically take only one session per day, so if your little one is having a hard time having their photo taken, I will be sure to take pauses, even if it goes a little over our slotted session time.

I have props and outfits that you may use during your session. Prior to your session we will sit down and talk over your session ideas, pick out items and have your little one try them on to be sure they fit.

Yes, you are welcome to have your milestone session outdoors if the weather permits it. However, I strongly recommend having your cake smash sessions indoors.

It is important to bring a favorite toy, blanket, book, food, or drink so that the child is happy and comfortable during the photo session.

If your child is ill or doesn’t feel well it is necessary to reschedule the session; babies and children aren’t the same when they don’t feel well, and it is my wish to be able to capture their true personality.
